Duties and Responsibilities of the University Secretary General:

The Secretary-General is in charge of implementing the university law and its executive and financial regulations with regard to administrative and financial affairs, and supervising the progress of administrative and financial work in the university carried out by its affiliated units: the Department of Administrative Affairs, the Department of Financial Affairs, the Department of Human Resources and Personnel Affairs, the Procurement Department, the Department of Technical Affairs, Public Relations and Marketing Department, Information Systems and Technology Department, Personnel Preparation and Development Center, University Press.

The Secretary-General's office follows up the implementation of the Secretary-General's directives and decisions issued by him in coordination with the various administrative, academic and technical units of the university.

 

General Secretariat office

Objectives:

Organizing the flow of information in the office of the Secretary-General, managing time, and working in accordance with the directions and instructions of the Secretary-General.

Specialties:

Ensure that all correspondences, memos and other related matters that come to the office of the Secretary-General are reviewed before they are presented to the Secretary-General.

  • Carrying out the work of rapporteur for some committees and meetings chaired by the Secretary-General.
  • Preparing, preparing and following up on the work of the Academic Council meetings and the meetings of the committees in which the Secretary-General participates, whether inside or outside the university.
  • Provide the necessary information and data to the Secretary-General as directed.
  • Keeping files and documents necessary for the work of the office and maintaining their confidentiality and integrity.
  • Organizing appointments, interviews and communications for the Secretary-General.
  • Receiving auditors from students, officials and employees and answering their inquiries or directing them to the competent authorities.
  • Coordination and follow-up of all issues received or issued by the Secretary-General's office.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned to him by the Secretary General.
