Abstract

In recent years, cloud computing has emergedas a new concept for delivering various onlineservices.
Cloud computing has become anindispensable part of corporate and publicenterprise. It
eliminates the need for users to planfor the future in order to provide services. It alsoallows
companies to start small and increaseresources only when there is growth in demand
forservices. However, despite the fact that cloudcomputing provides huge opportunities for
the ITindustry, the development of cloud computingtechnology is now in its infancy,
with unresolvedissues in this article, we offer a simplified review ofcloud computing, highlighting
basic concepts,architectural principles, and reviewed varioussecurity practices and challenges associated
with both the software and hardware aspects of protecting data in the cloud, and improving
datasecurity and privacy protection for a secure cloudenvironment. We conducted
a comparative researchanalysis of the current research work regarding datasecurity
and privacy protection techniques used incloud computing.
