The University of Modern Sciences was keen to not open the doors for admission and registration for its students until after obtaining the full permits of the university, as well as the academic recognition of its study programs.
The University of Modern Sciences is a private educational institution, recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Republic of Yemen.
License of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
The University of Modern Sciences obtained the official license and accreditation for operation under the document issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. [792] for the year 2004 AD corresponding to 08/14/2004 AD and is subject to the laws of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Republic of Yemen, as a private university, aimed at university work in a manner International, and it can accept international students from outside the Republic of Yemen.
There are terms worth distinguishing between: (recognition) and (accreditation):
Q (recognition): We mean by it that the university is registered with the Ministry of Higher Education in the country in which the university is located. As for the University of Modern Sciences, it has completed this aspect as we indicated above.
This means that the student can, after receiving his certificate, certify it by the university, and ratify it from the Ministry of Higher Education in the Republic of Yemen, and then the student can certify it from the Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and then from the embassy of his country in the State of the Republic of Yemen.
As for (accreditation): it means the academic accreditation of the academic programs and the academic process at the university, and according to the Yemeni regulations in education, all academic programs at the university in various disciplines conform to the academic accreditation standards and are approved by the competent unit of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
