First of all, when we talk about the University of Modern Sciences and its various qualitative and technical specializations, this means talking about higher education and scientific research in Yemen of wisdom and faith.
In its philosophy, the university also focused on attracting distinguished academic cadres with diverse experiences in the field of higher education, distinguished academic qualification, and high and diverse administrative competencies, with the aim of obtaining high-quality educational outputs in various scientific disciplines that characterize the University of Modern Sciences, which has become a distinguished and prestigious position on the The local, regional and Arab levels.
The University of Modern Sciences was established at the beginning of the first decade of the third millennium (2004), which was taken upon itself by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and his deputy, the continuous growth and continuous and successive developments in accordance with the scientific methodology and academic standards, step by step and accelerating, as the number of students enrolled in the university at the beginning of its launch in 2004 did not exceed The number of fingers on two hands, to reach in the academic year 2012/2013 a figure that our dear country, the happy Yemen, and the higher education and scientific research sector are proud of, as a result of the university providing fifteen scientific, qualitative and technical specializations in four colleges, all of which keep pace with most changes in the world of economy, technology and technology.
In pursuit of the university to fulfill the wishes and desires of high school graduates joining its world in the field of higher education and scientific research who do not have time to enroll in higher education and scientific research, or for many circumstances related to the character of Yemeni society, the university took upon itself the opening of a center for open and distance education With the aim of providing opportunities to join this segment of students in a way that achieves raising their educational levels and access to the world of scientific research and acquiring skills, through the principle of partnership with Cairo University, which is considered one of the most prestigious universities at all Arab, international and international levels, and its occupation of superior centers in higher education and scientific research.
Within the framework of the future interests of the University of Modern Sciences in relation to academic quality and higher education outcomes, the university has, in the past few days, established the Quality and Academic Accreditation Center, to secure obtaining high educational outputs in line with the requirements of the local and regional labor market, raise the level of its students and enhance their abilities and scientific and practical competence in Various disciplines, in addition to the establishment of the College of Pharmacy at the beginning of the academic year 2013/2014, and soon, God willing, new scientific colleges will be established through which the implementation of the university’s many strategies and scientific ambitions will be achieved, foremost of which is the provision of a high academic level and high educational outputs in line with the requirements of regional and international markets.
