    Interior Design Engineering Program at the University of Modern Sciences

    About the program:

    It is one of the programs of the College of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Modern Sciences and it is a branch of engineering, where this specialization is concerned with all the details of matters related to interior decoration and the design of interior facades of buildings in fun and attractive ways. It is also concerned with internal matters of buildings such as air conditioning, ventilation and lighting quality.

    Fields of work after graduation

    An interior design engineer can work in several areas, including:

    • Planning and designing the interior decoration for all residential and commercial establishments (banks - hotels - hospitals - restaurants - studios ....).
    •  Supervising and following up the implementation with a team of engineers and technicians. 
    •  Providing engineering consultancy.
    • Training and work in the academic and research field.
    • Work for a contracting company, engineering office, or related government agency.
    • Work with international organizations in the field of reconstruction and development.
    • Work for large companies in the field of furniture and kitchens.
    •   Work for local and international satellite channels.
    •   Self-employment by opening a private company or engineering office, or working from home via the Internet.
