Discussing the graduation projects of the Department of Journalism and Media at the College of Administrative Sciences a
Today, Thursday, August 26, 2021, the graduation projects of the Department of Press and Media at the College of Administrative Sciences and Humanities were discussed.
The discussion committee was chaired by Dr. Farouk Al-Huwaidi, head of the department, and the membership of Dr. Omar Abrein, Dr. Nawal Hazora and Dr. Hassan Djrah.
The committee praised the diversity of the projects in terms of their ideas and their treatment of issues of interest to the community. The committee also praised the students' excellence in their discussion of these projects.
Those projects included an awareness media campaign about the dangers of smuggled drugs.
The Socotra language received the attention of a radio program within those projects.
Documentary films include “Congratulations” and “Ambiguous Secrets” and “Mobile Journalism.”
The feature films included in two projects, the first entitled “The Nightmare” and the other “A Window of Hope.” A
short film was distinguished by its symbolic treatment, which is “With the Winner.”
The discussion was attended by Dr. Nabil Al-Sharjabi, Dean of the College of Administrative Sciences and Humanities, and Dr. Hilal Al-Muraisy, Dean of Academic Affairs, in the presence of a number of students from the department.
